From the Bishop

Update on the ADNE Episcopal Election Process

December 26, 2017

Dear Friends in Christ,

We, the Anglican Diocese in New England, are electing our next bishop. Today I’m releasing instructions to access important election process forms so that you may join us in prayer and celebrate the ten years of work we have done together.

Below is the link to the following documents:

  1. A letter from Canon Susan Skillen on suggesting a nominee for bishop, with instructions on the submission process
  2. The Vestry Nomination Form
  3. The Profile of the ADNE
  4. The Profile of the ADNE Bishop

The Committee on Nominations for Bishop (CNBp), along with the Standing Committee and the ADNE Synod, wants every member of our diocese to have complete access to this process. Therefore, after you read these documents and pray, please contact the priest or bishop in the ACNA who may be on your heart for this position, and ask them if you may have the honor of suggesting their name to the ADNE for consideration in our election process.

Please access these documents under the “Important Documents” section on our ADNE Episcopal Election webpage.

It has been an honor to serve our Lord as the first bishop of the Anglican Diocese in New England, and I can’t wait to meet our second Bishop and see what God will do in the next season of our life together.

Yours in Christ,

+Bill Murdoch
