On May 20, Bishop Bill visited All Saints Anglican Church, Attleboro. He found a lively and hopeful congregation, and many of them expressed their enthusiasm for their new rector, The Rev. Craig Vickerman, and his family. The ministry to children and youth throughout the parish has been extraordinary. After the service, while the church was having a wonderful lunch together, All Saints had their bounce house set up in the playground behind the church for the kids, the playground having been consecrated about eight years ago for the benefit of the community. It is consistently being used by children in the neighborhood. The Vickerman’s live close by and are consistently engaged in their community.
During the worship service, Bishop Bill confirmed two individuals: Benjamin Litchfield and Alanna Ward, and also received two individuals into the Anglican Communion: Elaine Patten and Ellen Morse. Please keep these four in your prayers, along with the All Saints community as they move into their Summer season.
