Jeffrey Dorn Ordained Priest at Redeemer Franklin

On Sunday, May 27, The Rev. Jeffrey Dorn was ordained to the priesthood at Anglican Church of the Redeemer, Franklin. Bishop Bill preached and celebrated the occasion, with friends, family and parishioners there to witness the event.

During his time in ministry over the past 25 years, Fr. Jeff has pastored and worked for several parachurch ministries with a focus on outreach and ministering to underserved populations, including time as the director of the Shapes Mentoring Program – providing mentors for children of inmates. In 2012, Fr. Jeff and his wife, Jessie, relocated to Massachusetts, where he continued his work with at-risk populations. During this time, he became friends with Fr. Dan Sylvia at Redeemer and God worked through this relationship to call him to Anglicanism. Fr. Jeff has been serving as deacon at Redeemer for the past year and as Director of Outreach and Family Ministry.

Please keep Redeemer, Franklin and Fr. Jeff Dorn in your prayers as he begins his ministry as priest in the Franklin community.
