Bishop Andrew Williams celebrated his first Holy Eucharist at All Saints Anglican Cathedral on March 17, 2016. He was welcomed not only as the new bishop but as a new parish member, along with his family, who will be calling All Saints their home church. His wife, Elena, and daughters Kate, Isabel, and Olivia were also there to greet the parish and support Bp. Andrew as he celebrated and preached. Bishop Andrew preached on what he sees as the defining verse for this season in his life and the life of the diocese: Isaiah 61, and the sermon can be heard below.
After the service, All Saints presented the Williams’ with a gift basket and a cake, along with lots of left over food from the Consecration, which the parish was able to enjoy together. Please keep the Williams family in your prayers as they continue to work on finalizing their transition from Connecticut.
